The purpose of the Colorado Auto Theft Investigators Association is to bring together law enforcement, other public officials, and insurance company investigators, who are dedicated to the prevention and investigation of motor vehicle theft and kindred crimes, to promote communication and training among investigators and to reduce vehicle crimes and the effects of these crimes for the public good.
