Basic & Advanced Auto Theft Class - Loveland
The Colorado Auto Theft Investigators Association is sponsoring a two-day basic and advanced auto theft investigations training course in Loveland. This course is tailored to investigators and patrol officers who respond to and/or investigate auto theft and property-related crimes.
Our class objective is to provide patrol officers and investigators a thorough understanding of Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) to assist with their knowledge base when investigating vehicle-related crimes and to provide investigators and CSIs a clear understanding of what is needed when processing a recovered stolen vehicle in order to file and prosecute a successful case. This two-day course will also include information on law enforcement databases, acid restoration, and investigation scenarios.
Lakewood Detective Sean Templeton and Retired NICB Special Agent Dave Ollila are the class instructors. The course is free of charge. See the flyer for more information. Class size is limited to 25.
