2023 CATI Conference
Each year, the Colorado Auto Theft Investigators Conference is made possible through grant funding from the Colorado Auto Theft Prevention Authority. The 2023 CATI Conference will take place in Colorado Springs, Colorado from April 17th through the 21st.

The Conference will be held at the Great Wolf Lodge. This hotel will be the epicenter of the 2023 CATI Conference. This is where registration, the President's Reception, awards banquet, and training classes will take place.

Registration
The 2023 CATI Conference registration fee is $150. There are 150 scholarships available on a first come, first serve basis available to Colorado peace officers, analysts, and administrative technicians employed by law enforcement agencies or Colorado insurance investigators. Scholarships cover registration and hotel fees. Please complete the appropriate registration form below. If registering and paying for multiple attendees, please contact Beth Daniel for an invoice.

Yearly Awards
The following awards are presented each year at the conference. Please contact any board member with questions or nomination information.
Deputy Micah Flick Investigator of the Year Award
This award is intended to recognize a sworn or civilian investigator(s) who has made a significant impact on motor vehicle crimes through their investigative skills, sheer determination to ensure justice is served, and cooperation with other investigating agencies or individuals, whether they are public, private, or governmental entities. This award honors El Paso Deputy Micah Flick who was killed in the line of duty investigating a motor vehicle theft on February 5, 2018. Deputy Flick was assigned to BATTLE and was an active member of CATI.
CATI Investigation of the Year Award
This award is intended to recognize the sworn and/or civilian investigator(s) who participated in a significant motor vehicle and kindred crimes investigation which was multi-jurisdictional, national, or international in scope.
CATI Officer/Trooper/Deputy of the Year Award
This award is intended to recognize an officer/trooper/deputy who has made a significant impact on motor vehicle crimes through their investigative skills, sheer determination to ensure justice is served, and cooperation with other investigating agencies or individuals, whether they are public, private, or governmental entities.
CATI Executive Board Award for Heroism
This award is intended to recognize any CATI member who, during or after the course of a motor vehicle crime investigation, places themselves in the path of imminent harm for the protection or rescue of any sworn or civilian investigator/officer/trooper/deputy or non-associated civilian.
CATI Executive Board Distinguished Merit Award
This award is intended to recognize any CATI member(s) who has demonstrated CATI's primary mission:
- To unite the public, law enforcement, and insurance industry investigators with the prevention and investigation of motor vehicle thefts and kindred crimes;
- To promote the exchange of investigative information;
- To create a forum for better communication among investigators in Colorado, the Rocky Mountain region, and the nation;
- To assist the CATI Executive Board by demonstrating a willingness to improve their research and investigative talents related to motor vehicle crimes;
- To bring credit upon CATI, themselves, and their agency or business by always cooperating with individuals and investigative agencies requesting their assistance.
